All prints will be made from the FULL SIZE images, not the smaller images that I post on the internet. This will result in the best quality prints. They will be printed on high-quality photographic paper at a professional lab. Available sizes are 8 x 10 inches, and 11 x 14 inches. About the photographer
My photography is all about emotions. I seek to catch those instants when a person’s expression shows their inner spirit and passion, or when a certain angle and quality of light evoke feelings in the viewer.
I bring all that I’ve been and done in my life to my photography—the intense visual focus and intuitive eye for composition of a floral and landscape designer, the emotions and soul of a poet and musician, and the analytical mind of a scientist. “BBE” stands for “Behind Blue Eyes”, which not only describes me, but is also a tribute to my long-time inspiration, The Who. I often “see” in my mind the photos that I want to take, before I actually take them. Being able to bring those visions into reality, to be seen and enjoyed by others, is an enduring joy. Some of my earliest memories are of being riveted by photos in magazines. I didn’t realize it then, but I was learning about the power of the photographic image to move the heart and change the world.
